Saw the great Gatsby today with Jasmine, Minh Tan and Yvonne. Movie started off so well with fantastic cinematography and music and shit. Like it really got me going and even believing that Gatsby was a real sick cunt. God, the music was actually beautiful with the scenes that were happening. I would give anything to go back a night to one of those parties that Gatsby threw. I think though, that alot of the people that went to those parties back then though were sad in their own little way somehow. Still can't believe the ending though, was fucking so sad when no-one came to visit him.... Really hit me. Nikki is seriously the best of blokes for sticking with him the whole way.
And omg, the scene where Gatsby is trying to ask Nikki to do him a favour and he COMPLETELY loses his cool and composure and becomes like a little boy again LOL. It was so brilliantly done. Overall the end product of the movie was good, the first half was sexy as hell but the second half was depressing for moi.
Nah, what am I saying. This movie was actually really really really REALLY good. Everything was so crazy and just out there. A lot of it was "exaggerated" to me but that's what made it even better! Definitely would recommend to all my viewers, please watch this for me you :D
